We've actually discussed this on some previous threads, but since we tend to lean towards the current political topics it wasn't discussed at length like on the entertainment blog sites. I agree more attention should be paid to overall domestic violence in our community. It bothers me that there wasn't the type of outrage there should have been over R. Kelly and as far as I'm concerned, that was violence too.

I think everyone has the option to be outraged over what they would like. As I posted earlier if you are not interested in the domestic violence issue, fine. My whole goal with this and most articles I post on this site (which I have done regularly for the past year) is to bring information that may be of interest. So really you and I don't need to discuss this anymore because you have made it clear how you feel.

Agree. The MSM are so transparent. It's a total distraction from the cartoon. MSNBC and the other cable networks have beenput on notice by the actions of people who arent' going to putup with their biased race-baiting journalism.

That's why racism is so hurtful and damaging. White folks don't equate us as humans, therefore they can rationalize the racist behavior away without any emotion connection.

When you can feel more emotion for an animal than you can another human being, based on their color, you've go some serious issues.

I don't care if the person who wrote the article, and the commentators on MSNBC are the direct decendants of Martin and Coretta King, Chris Brown is a weapon of mass distraction and the owners of MSNBC way of telling black folks what they should or should not be outraged about.
