There is no excuse for what happened. No matter how "rowdy" his group was on NEW YEARS, there is nothing, nothing short of him drawing a weapon that could explain the murder of Oscar Grant. It makes me sick.<br><br>I do hope, though, as people express their anger and confusion in Oakland and the surrounding areas, in which I live, the protest is loud, the protest is strong, but the line is not crossed again from protest to riot as it was earlier this week. The voice of outrage needs to be heard, but it should not be expressed by breaking windows in storefronts, damaging cars or other personal property or by threatening the safety of others.
