I have never watched such a nonsubstantive panel on MTP or any other political show.
Unbelieveable…no one made any comment of significance…I kept watchin hopin it would get better, it didn't.

Please save me from more panels of this ilk…bring on some scholars.

He was German and Danish. Europeans like Belgians and Greeks were forever trying to get some 'pure' royal blood to rule over them when they became independent in the 19th century–they couldn't get one of their own to rule–so they got Germans from Hesse or Schleswig Holstein or something. And yeah, he had a real broke ass and hard life (for a royal) until his uncle Lord Mountbatten (renamed from Battenberg) shoved him in the Royal Family's face.

He and Elizabeth are actually cousins, their common ancestor being Queen Victoria. Man, all that inbreeding. (Chuck and Di were also cousins, although her bloodline came from the bastard side of the family, and proved was far more royal than his own.)

A couple of his sisters and several of his cousins couldn't show their faces in Britain at the time of his marriage because they had been or married minor royals who became Nazis during the war. It was like that for several decades, that's how bad the feeling was against Nazis or Germans.

Barking news: Obama decides on a moderate dog

When President-elect Barack Obama was getting made up for his interview for ABC’s “This Week” at the Newseum, his daughters Malia and Sasha were playing producer and director in the control room.

At one point, they even got to talk into host George Stephanopoulos’ ear.

Stephanopoulos says they suggested a question: “What kind of a dog are we getting and when are we getting it?”

On Election Night, Obama said: “Sasha and Malia, I love you both more than you can imagine. You have earned the puppy that is coming with us.”

The president-elect told Stephanopoulos: “They seem to have narrowed it down to a Labradoodle or a Portuguese water hound.”

“A medium-sized,” the anchor observed.

“Medium-sized dog, and so, we’re now going to start looking at shelters to see when one of those dogs might come up,” Obama replied. “We’re closing in on it. This has been tougher than finding a commerce secretary.”

Just soooo “HUMAN – Er. . . -um. . .CANINE INTEREST a story!! :>) :>)
