Not for this guy. He obviously has some serious problems with getting respect (well, try new clothes and disney acting auditions doing exercise “dude” *hehe*, you’ll get the joke when you watch the video!) so he decides to teach this poor skater some by strangle holding him and pushing him on the ground along with varios abusive statements.

Rikyrah, I swear, sitting in that press box that night brought memories of going to the Jackson Five (I was about eight or nine and like every other little African-American girl, had the worst crush on Michael before he grew up and carved his face into Skeletor) with my cousins at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, or the Circle Star Theater over in San Carlos.

When I thought about what to say, I bet on the memories bringing it home to our readers. LOL

My nieces LOVE the Jonas Brothers and were jumping all around singing the words. My husband was like, “who is this band?” I was like, “don' watch disney much, huh.” End of that story.

I just finished watching this show. I didn't even know it occurred until I read your post. What a wonderful thing to see all those kids and their parents. What a tribute to the american family and our new first family. What a joy it was to see malia and sasha having a great time…they must be the envy of all those kids…getting to hold hands and dance with the jonas brothers!

I watched most of it. My favorite part was the interview with the kids about life in the military. They asked what their parents did, and two boys got blank looks on their faces for about 5 seconds, and the oldest one said “We'll get back to you on that.” Then the last little boy who said “My dad hasn't told me that yet.”

I loved that Malia (and her camera!) and Sasha got to rock out with the Jonas Brothers, because these events have got to be wearing on them, no matter how mature they are.

Thanks for this on-the-ground coverage, CPL. I bet a whole lotta reporters were like, ' Kids Inaugural', but see, you made it come 'back ancient' for us grown folk. No, we couldn't pick out the Jonas Brothers if our lives depended on it, but we remember The Jackson 5 (in my day, it was New Edition). We remember what it was like to be that age and who we loved. I thought the Kids Inaugural was brilliant. Putting parents and children together, being able to bond over a political event – how great is that.
