Cluster — absolutely. I was surprised by the poor handling of crowd control. The treatment of the elderly and those with tickets or media credentials was especially shocking.

I was there as well. I agree wth you it was a clusterfuck. The closed metro sations was especilly annoying. For example La Efant plaza was close, and we had to go all the way to the next staion and go back around, it took us an extra hour. They said it was crowded, too crowded, but the next station was much worst. Well par of it is my dad's fault, if we had gone my way and transfered to the blue line we wouldn't had that detour. I was seriously thinking I should had just stayed home and watched on TV.

Ok..great post.

This is what will happen after the exposure to black culture. They'll pull the ole “switcheroo”. They'll begin to morph…taking on our cultural identity, and then insisisting they were always the true “African Americans”.

Spellman College President Beverly Tatum participated in a commentary panel during with Rev. Jesse Jackson during CBS News coverage, so there's even more HBCU participation right there.
