I have no love for him. He will be a problem for the Democratic Party. When his trial w/ Fitzgerald begins he will be singing like a canary and many of these Democrats will be running for cover while cutting their own deals to avoid jail time.

Yeahh, that was just foul. All this because of Obama's senate seat after they spent years trying to pretend everything was kosher in Springfield.

A quick show of hands: how many even knew who the governor of Illinois WAS before the wiretaps surfaced? Anyone? Anyone? I didn't think so.....

My work puts in me in contact with state governments all over the country, so I get the skinny on all the statehouse doings. I've been hearing for years what a straight up nut Blagojevich is, so the only thing that surprised me was how long it took to get him out.

You have my sympathies though. I'm in New Jersey, so I'm all too familiar with governors forced to leave in disgrace.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what's the skinny on Paterson?

It's no secret that Paterson pissed off a lot of folks when he dissed Caroline Kennedy, but folks aren't happy with some of the ways he wants to sort out the budget. Some of the upstate Indian tribes are majorly pissed at him because he wants to put taxes on their tobacco sales, which is a solid source of revenue for them. I heard something about the tribes maybe shutting down the part of the Thruway that runs through the reservations in protest, but this was a while back so I don't know if that went down.

Wish I had something more scandalous, but there you go LOL. I'll share if I get something juicy.
