Yesterday in Gaza, the International Red Cross found "four small [Palestinian] children next to their dead mothers in one of the houses. They were too weak to stand up on their own." The children had been there with their dead mothers FOR FOUR DAYS...

The International Red Cross said (on 1/8/2008) that it believes "in this instance, the Israeli military failed to meet its obligation under international humanitarian law to care for and evacuate the wounded," according to the Associated Press.

So let me translate: The International Red Cross is saying that the Israelis are War Criminals.

How f**king ironic? How dare the Red Cross call Holocaust Descendents, "War Criminals?" That's oxymoronic! Isn't it???

You can call me Anti-Semitic....But in a season of Judeo-Deceit, ie. Bernie Madoff defrauding investors of billions AND Auschwitz/Buchenwald Survivors writing "Fictionalized" Memoirs (Herman Rosenblatt, Angels at the Fence, ie.), you really can't say shyt to me.

Dr. Jan Adams--the man who performed plastic surgery on Kanye West's mother Donda, shortly before she died--has been jailed for a year for drunken driving.

Adams pleaded guilty to the charge last year, after he drove his car the wrong way on Interstate 680. His blood alcohol level was .20 percent, reports the Associated Press.

"When I visited South Africa a few years ago," Obama said in a video message to Mandela in July. "I had a chance to go to Robben Island and stand in your cell, and I reflected on your courage, your foresight and conviction, and on your fundamental belief that we do not have to accept the world as it is; that we can remake the world as it should be."

Imagine the possibility that Mandela might make one more trip to Washington, this coming January, to join in the celebration of the American Mandela moment that will be realized when Obama is inaugurated.

A "Mandela Moment" would have been if Frederick Douglass were elected POTUS in 1868. Dat s*it didn't happen. It tooks us 140 years. It took Nelson Mandela only 4 years after receiving his freedom and ending Apartheid.

AZ Sen. Bob Burns calls budget deficit a ‘tar baby’

- Arizona State Senate President Bob Burns is facing criticism for referring to the state’s budget situation as a “tar baby.”

Burns, R-Peoria, used the term Thursday to describe the state’s large deficits during a speech before the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The state faces a shortfall of as much as $4.5 billion for the current and next fiscal years.

Over the years, the term “tar baby” has had racial connotations with some concerns that is a derogatory name for blacks.

“It’s an embarrassment to Arizona that the president of our Senate would use such an ugly term, one that is so universally recognized as derogatory and hurtful,” said Emily DeRose, communications director for the Arizona Democratic Party.

The term originates from Joel Chandler Harris’ 19th century “Uncle Remus” and “Br’er Rabbit” books. The tar baby character in those Southern folklore stories was a doll made of tar and turpentine.
