Where was this "outrage" during the Bush Presidency? Brown is phony and she's trying to jump on the Olberman/Maddow ratings/format. Sorry, not buying Brown's new found "no bull, no bias".

The real problem w/ Campbell Brown's admission is that it comes too late. We have outrage now from her. If I'm not mistaken it was only Anderson Cooper who lost it on national TV denouncing the Federal governments response. The response of CNN was to use the excuse he was sick to pull him of the air. he was sick alright but it was his heart from anguish that caused his physical infirmity:

I agree. Everyone is taking a running leap onto the Bush train as it pulls out of the station to get in their last backhanded slaps.

Here's some news Campbell: pointing out a massive failure almost 4 years after it happened doesn't make you enlightened. it makes you late. REALLY late. The kind of late where you shouldn't really say anything about it.

It DISGUST me how many people are pissed off about Katrina NOW. Where were you when it happened? I was trying to help friends locate family members and put the pieces of their lives back together.

But I guess now it's cool to trash the guy who already knows he screwed up and, in a few days, can give a flying f*** about it. In fact, if you watch that tape again, it looks like he gives less than that now. His language is, "Why are we still TALKING about this?! That was YEARS ago. Get over it."

President Bush can kiss my azz and so can anybody else that even hints that the federal government was THE entity culpable for what happpened to New Orleans. For me, its moot to debate who should have done what because THE LEVEES WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO BREECH, and that responsibility lies ultimately with the federal government. In the 21st century, it makes no damn sense that the levee system in a major city that is completely under sea level was so weak that it couldn't hold up, I dont care what category the storm was. Hurricane Katrina didn't destroy New Orleans. A category 3 hurricane did not destroy New Orleans. What destroyed New Orleans was a play-doh, lego built Levee system that was destined to breech because it was CHEAP.

Sorry, in my anger - that should be "hints that the federal government was NOT the entity culpable for what happened to New Orleans." I solely blame the US government for the levee breach.
