2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

Black racists want to excuse their own racism – i.e. 'Selective Racism' – and only focus on white racism.

Now, i have to say, for many years in this country, and even today still, you were pretty much called a “traitor” or “anti-American” even if you dared speak out against the Bush administration's handling of events….especially the wars or the response of 9/11. And the media stayed quiet….and didn't ask the right questions, just went with the flow. And Bush and them expoited it.That is why people like Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld often came out with some of the most brash “I don't give a fuck” type of answers you could find.

Many people want to hail Bush as this type of “hero” President who emerged after 9/11 and stood up and led us ( and naturally people will look to their leaders during a time of crisis, his approval ratings at that time proved it). I, however, still have plenty of questions…and quite frankly I never thought Bush was quite up to the task of the job. I still want to know why he, in 2001, on the heels of the USS Cole bombing, decided to take the record vacation time that he did, while he and his administration seemingly ignored the numerous (at least 4 dozen) warnings to the FAA of a possible terrorist attack, and then still remain on vacation in Crawford after receiving the infamous bulletin saying “Bin Laden is determined to strike” an entire month before 9/11……….and then he and his administration turn around and lie and claim we just didn't know it could happen. Defend them all you want, but that is bullshit. I was in Hampton Roads back in 2000 when the Norfolk-based USS cole was bombed and I KEPT that attack in my mind because as an “average citizen” I knew that we our country needed to be on alert…..so I do not even buy any official during that first year ( whose father had already served as VP and Pres.) tell me that they did not suspect this.

But nevertheless, my main point is that being “steadfast” in your philosophy/ideology'mindst can be an admirable thing…….but just like everything else in life, too much of anything is never good…..and that includes the unwillingness to change course and admit your wrongs. In life, we do not just have young “fools,” you have a lot of old “fools” as well. Even Ed Rollins is in disbelief over Bush's press conference yesterday, he wrote a piece over at CNN.

I don't see it as stubborness or defiance (at least not the way you're presenting them). I've said before that I have more respect for the person who makes a wrong call and weathers its ensuing storm, than one who changes his opinion at the slightest hint of displeasure.

However being a stubborn, defiant you-know-what is an absolutely horrible trait, no matter what your political affliation is.

Bush was and will probably continue to be the type of person who will do whatever the hell he pleases and hopes he gets way with with it….isn't that pretty much how he (and some of his closest family members) carried on……let us not forget that even before he entered politics, he was under investigation by the SEC for his shady and failed business practices. That was America's preview then. But of course the “Bush name/ legacy” is about the only thing that keeps hard-core supporters from throwing his ass under the bus.

Bush sat by and enacted some of the worst policies.

And though you, I and others may disagree on his foreign policy…..you have to admit, Bush proclaiming “Wall Street got drunk” is one of the most absurb things I have heard, considering that it was he who was the host of the party,
