Well, thanks everyone for keeping the place open for folks like me to come and visit.

In 15 days a happy, happy hope comes true. I remember when I first saw Barack Obama speak here in Boston in 2004. On my birthday! I jumped up off the sofa and twirled around the room saying "He's on our side! Can you believe this guy?! That's our next president!" I said that. I really did. Ask my sister.

Now it's really happening. During the campaign, I have to admit I became despondent at times. I despaired that we Americans would not be smart and vote Barack Obama into office, and I looked at the alternative--McCain/Palin--and said we couldn't do that to ourselves. We couldn't!!!!

I sent Barack Obama $$$ every month--I've never sent a candidate a cent in my life. I had to do it. How else could this dream be realized? It is the best money I've ever spent.

My heart is full. Barack is the embodiment of all that this country aspires to be: Exceptional, humane, unsurpassed.

We are blessed. I am so lucky to be alive at this moment.

Godspeed, President-elect Obama.
