who to love or not love

Black women have not been

being removed from the

I finally weaned myself off Law & Order last year…..I mean all three shows, the original, SVU and Criminal Intent. I was addicted.

As an IL resident, I would be almost ready to bet the house note that if Jesse Jr. is nominated for this seat, he will lose it in 2010. I'm talking about A. Big. Loss.
There's a reason that his appeal does not cross all economic lines, not does it extend downstate. He can talk it, but he sure as heck doesn't walk it.

I agree with you about the Big Loss in the general. It is sad but Jr, carries the sins of his dad in political circles and ergo, he lacks statewide appeal across racial and economic lines. I have listened to Jr speak and he does comport himself well, unfortunately he is saddled with the racial politics of his dad.

You bailed on SVU just in time. I think the writers all developed crack habits during the hiatus because some of the plots this season made me say WTF, if I wasn't laughing at something that was unintentionally funny. One episode I'm thinking of in particular involved Stabler going undercover as an exotic animal smuggler, with a climactic scene where Capt. Cragen saved a monkey that was smuggled through customs in a basketball (you read that right). Needless to say, I haven't watched since.

Coupled with the fact that he has accomplished very little in the time he has been in Congress. His opponents will think that heaven was handed to them on a plate if they get to discuss his record – or lack of one.

Oh, and I left out the best part about that episode. Big Boi from Outkast played a hip hop mogul who had exotic animals as pets a la Pacino in “Scarface”, and he ends up being eaten by a couple of hyenas. Non-stop crazy I tell you.
