I"m off that day though, so I guess I'll just have to go to my sister's house and watch the festivities on her big screen.<br><br>Damnit, I really want to go. I feel like I felt when I missed the first Mardi Gras celebration after Katrina. I watched it on T.V. and I damn near cried. Well my Gma had a dinner as usual and people from the church came and we ate and my dad introduced me to Deacon jones. I had known deacon jones for years but what i didnt know was that he was a former Tuskegee Airmen. He shared dozens of stories with me about his fellow soldiers and what they had to go through. Lets just say i Aced my project and learned more about our history than i had ever planned on that weekend. Big ups to the Tuskegee Airmen and to PE Obama for recognizing greatness when i was in i think middle school, I was doing a project on ww2.
