Yes. they come from a variety of socio-economic strata. Yes. being Black is as complicated as being anyone else.

I so appreciate her stressing this throughout her write-up. Our public schools were all about rote learning. It wasn't until I left high school, got married then went to college did I become adept at critical thinking. Common sense goes a long way, but C.T. helps one to thrive in this world.
