There was a complaint in the Open Thread that we hadn’t tackled the issue of the fighting in Gaza between our 51st State and Hamas. I don’t know about anyone else, but, for me, I wasn’t feeling it. The reason I wasn’t feeling it was the obviousness of the TIMING of this attack. Yes, Bush told our 51st State to go on and attack those folks in Gaza. He just can’t leave well enough alone.

You can discuss the issue here. We could solve a lot of things if we did one thing: cut off the funding to our 51st State.

Then, maybe they’d be in the mood to listen to reason.
