OK, why would you deny being an informant? It’s not my aim to impugn JJJ as to this scandal. It’s my aim to show that his innate family sense of me-ism betrayed him here. The snitch line would have and should have been the first thing out his mouth, short and sweet, no “wife by my side and me in a sweater” cozy interview that only guilty m-fs engage in.

I feel like I have to explain this.

We can blame Blago on White folk.

White folks who refused to 'do the right thing'.

When folks speak of the Bradley Effect, they fail to bring up someone who I believe was a victim of it.

His name is Roland Burris.

And, he had been the:
State Comptroller
The Secretary of State
AND The Attorney General

Let that sink in.

He had not one, not two, but THREE Statewide offices.

PLUS,

He wasn't from Chicago. He was born and raised in SOUTHERN Illinois.

But, when push came to shove...for the top spot - the Governorship..

Those White folk simply wouldn't vote for Burris, who was obviously qualified.

Blago beat him out in the Democratic Primary. And, the GOP candidate's name was Jim Ryan.

The former GOP Governor, on his way to indictment --his name?
George Ryan.

Fast forward 4 years.

He hadn't been indicted yet, and nobody wanted to run against a sitting Governor.

His oppoenent was Judy Baar-Topinka. She ran a rotten campaign. Truth be told, she is a moderate Republican...not that offensive...but, there was no way she was going to win crossover votes, because of who she chose as her running mate - Joe Birkett - who was involved up to his eyeballs in the wrongful prosecution of Rolando Cruz - a Hispanic man sent to Death Row -TWICE - for a crime he didn't commit. Burkett STILL wouldn't admit that he had prosecuted the wrong man. So, a lot of folks who weren't crazy about Blago - there was no way to vote for Topinka, because of Burkett. Remember, Illinois is the state where 13 men were released from Death Row- BECAUSE THEY WERE INNOCENT. To Blacks and Hispanics, Burkett was a deal breaker, and we held our nose and voted for Blago.

There was a column this week in the Sun-Times that was brutal in its honesty. What killed Blago wasn't that he was crooked. It was that he was incompetent. We're used to crooked - ' as long as the trains run on time.' Blago forgot that.

Of course I know his fingerprints are all over "journalism's" throat, but the statement itself is true.

I saw that report on ABC too, I think it was Charles Thomas. I hope this account is accurate and Jesse is innocent.

Kudos to Charles Thomas cuz ya colleaguea Andy Shaw got in for Obama and the Jacksons.

Also, during that report they played a clip of Fitzgerald cautioning the media that they would "hear names" in the report but that only two people who are accused of any wrongdoing are the two being arrested. Somehow, that clip was not in heavy rotation.
