I remember reading a bunch of these studies when I was in college and found it horrifying then. I don't have much reason to think things have improved.

There is a world of difference from lack of communication or second thoughts of and pre-meditation followed with denial later. Alcohol, drugs and groups of boys or men are not the precursor for a proper exploration of one's budding sexuality.
