You wouldn't have seen any, with the exception of Bill Clinton, and in the beginning, they treated Bill Clinton like a Black Man and made him jump through a few hoops, even going after his momma, because Ms. Virginia liked an occasional day playing the ponies with her own cash.

Until Barack Obama was elected, I thought that was the level of silliness I had seen.

I now stand corrected.

I almost posted the link from an "article" yesterday on the Chicago Tribune's website, but I was reluctant to even bring the negativity here. There were over thousand comments posted in response to the website. Just vile, ignorant posts. These type of posts just reinforce why I have no qualms whatsoever about any security measures, parking restrictions, whatever I have to go through living just a few blocks from the Obamas. I say widen the blockade cuz there are some crazy mofos out there.

You have people actually DEMANDING President Elect Obama obtain the vault certificiate and personally produce it on demand to any citizen who requests it. I mean the comments were basically " if I see Obama at an event I as a citizen have the right to demand he pulls out his birth certificate for inspection". It feels like he is at the border trying to cross. GTFOH.

I realize I am not old enough to have been engaged in Presidential politics, but I don't know of any other instance where a candidate had to jump through so many hoops.

Yes Barack's mother DID know he was gonna be President when he was born….because Reese came back and told her that her child was going to be the Grand Poobah of Earth…but the baby that she had was switched with another baby, Barack is really a part of the machines plan to take over. That's why he won't let go of his blackberry. He has to stay connected to the Matrix.

One of the crazy claims I read somewhere was that when his mother married & went to Indonesia, he was adopted by her new husband or they got citizenship for Barack there.

Usually, when this comes up in discussion, I remind people that instead of arguing over this, or why Palin is the second coming of Christ/Reagan (depending on who you ask) that there are these little elections coming up in 2010 that we should be working to find/field candidates for. Course, no one wants to hear that.

So, for me it's simple: I remind people that there's more important things to focus on than how to "unelect" Obama...and that if we keep neglecting the bigger issues, 11/2010, '12, '14, and '16 may not look that much different than 11/2008. And then I go back to planning my own campaign.

Far as I'm concerned, he has to have some type of security clearance to sit on Foreign Relations, or to view intelligence reports that are passed around the Senate occasionally. Can't have that without being a citizen, so he's good in my book.
