Boykin I have tracked before, but Cannick I haven't so I'll be looking at their websites for news.

My information was that one of the King men was gay, but I couldn't figure out which one some critics have fastened on.. True–you could be married and still be gay–but what gets me is that I never heard any of the younger Kings having a social life and boy/girlfriends until recently. Now I can understand–there would only be one man for Coretta, but the kids seemed in a box.

You hear about these guys: (Haggard, Jim Bakker, the list goes on and on) doing the holier than thou number and then they turn out to be gay or bisexual. Which makes me think that the louder these kinds of people point the finger at gays, the more it looks like the speakers have some issues.

I remember seeing Butterfield for the first time at a CBC conference about four years ago and he walked up to the panelists' table – he'd just won a special election when James Ballance had to bounce because he was about to get charged with corruption or some shyt; anywhoo, in walked Butterfield, and I took one look at him and had the same question as everybody else:

“Who's the White Guy on the Panel?” and he told us he was the newest CBC member by saying, “I know what y'all thinking: 'where's this white guy think he's going?'” and we all busted up laughing because it was true.

Black guys light enough to pass for white (sorry, Dark SIth; your hair gives you away unless you touch up with texturizer), but don't; chocolate/charcoal brothas like Clarence and Earl Woods wanting to be white and CAN'T.

I'll never understand that dynamic at all.

And you notice none of this shyt broke out until after Coretta was buried, and really went upscale after Yolanda passed.
