Before you rant on about other's ranting… get your facts straight. Those cars are also made in North America, provide many well-paying jobs to many “un-decorated” citizens of Canada and US. Letters behind a name do not make for a better person, however, the motivation to acquire those letters can be enough for even the poorest to do so. The facts are that, in the days prior to the Wal-Mart empire, people took pride in their shops, the middle class was born from merchants selling goods on a smaller scale and the American way of life was born. Now, Wal-Mart has left millions of merchants un-employed because of their ability to buy at large scale and secure lower pricing for goods. What is better? Saving 20 cents on a loaf of bread? or losing ten locally owned shops where the merchants made good wages and now are forced to work in the mens clothing section for 8 dollars an hour?

This situation is just sad. As much as I want to say “I can't believe it”, I can believe it. This reminds me that there is definetely a secular Christmas and the religious observance of Christmas. Saving $20 dollars on stuff is not worth the crowds, the pushing, the rudeness, and most importantly a man's life. I pray that Mr. Damour's family can find peace in time.

Walmart (NYSE WMT) and Walgreens (NYSE WAG) are not the same corporation. They were just both started by two gentlement whose last names were Sam Walton (Walmart) and Charles Walgreen. Walgreens is based in Deerfield, IL. :)

I tried not to shop at Walmart before and made it for 4 months. I loathe how their business practices, but like many others, I'm trying to hold on to as much as my earnings as possible.
