New Hampshire Becomes First State Senate with Female Majority

History was made in New Hampshire on Tuesday as New Hampshire’s state senate became the first state legislative body in US history with a female majority. Thirteen of the state’s twenty-four senators are now women.

White House used to have it's own private barber shop and beauty salon. I don't know if it still does. Tradition was that the incoming President hired whomever they wanted. There was one guy who had cut the hair of 8 or 10 Presidents.

Most of the staff is black, and has been for generations. One of the plum jobs is as White House Chef. There has only been 1 black head chef, who was appointed in a "acting" position due to the death of the then reigning Head Chef. He was moved back to his old job as soon as a new Head Chef was hired.

As I recall, there was a bit of scandal surrounding Hillary's hiring of a head chef. In any event I have to believe whomever has been cooking for the Bushes will be out of a job...

A brother can only handle so many bean burritos...

It's important we KNOW that this chatter is happening and that these people are being monitored. ADL is a human rights organization.

I personally thought that thematic breakdown of what the "issues" are for these bigots was interesting related to recruitment and tragedy especially. Many of us are educators and know the signs of a child/ person who might seek out these groups. When I worked on a campus, I distributed this information to Resident Adivisors who essentially had direct contact with students who might consider joining a hate group, then they educated them and explained the importance of an inclusive community.

I'm this scared you, but think of it this way also. Many groups are monitoring them and compiling evidence so like the others if they attempt, they will not be let go. And if they threaten they will be quickly swooped up we have been following them. And use this info to remind people of how others think about this and its a larger issue than "they hate black people." some people just want to ignore them and ignoring them doesn't protect our own communities.
