Of course the Obama girls should attend a private school, for no other reason that private schools can control who comes and goes from their property. Of course, the schools that they looked at were all excellent. And they are smart girls, so they need an academic challenge AND some friends.

Sheesh, why are people confused about this?

I never understood this mentality of “keeping it real=staying in the ghetto”. If you work had to get out poverty/ghetto/projects/etc. shouldn't you kids enjoy the fruits if your labor? Isn't that why people try so hard to get out in the first place, to make a better life for their kids? Didn't we expect former presidents to give their kids the best? Don't we want that for our own president-elect? Those folks need to give me a break with that mess!

As for me–I'm happy that they will be in a school where they will be safe. That's all that matters, and for everyone else who has lip about it, they can just step off.
