I can't see the sexist crowd at NBC allowing a woman to head up “Meet the Press”.

And Mrs. Greenspan is too biased – if she does too many hit pieces on the POTUS, it will not be long before media watchdogs like Media Matters start filing complaints to a restored FCC that would take it seriously enough to threaten NBC with fines and then yanking their broadcast license.

When we first heard that she would be “leaving” the fray (I don't think she ever really left, maybe just in name only), we were all talking about what a great SoS she would have made. Im glad to see her back in the picture.

In my opinion, she's more qualified that Hillary Clinton.

NOPE!! It could be that I really like Powers, so I'm biased. But I think she if H.Clinton didn't foist herself as the Messiah of Womanhood, Powers would be the SoS nominee…

….but I'm still Team Richardson for SoS even though the talk has been he is to be SoC.

Yeah – I knew she'd be back. Yet again I have to ask WTH does Billary have to do with anything. The lack of objectivity or vetting by the Corporate Media only indicates how unreliable it is. It was Clintonista water-carriers that started that rumor in the first place. She is not gonna be SoS. Not without a FULL & PUBLIC disclosure that can be verified. That's why Bill Richardson hasn't been announced for a Cabinet position yet. Please protest Andrea Mitchell being considered for the Meet the Press job. She'll be doing a hit job on Obama every week if she gets it.

Umm I dont see Powers coming back into the fold has anything to do with HRC ( apology or otherwise). I think its great that Powers is back because she has a keen mind. And it additionally re-bolsters ( I know this isnt a word!) my confidence that Obama knows what he is doing in the foreign policy arena. I just cant think that HRC could be SoS and all his recent statements suggest it was never a done deal with HRC anyway.
