i'm all for a pragmatic approach to governing—including the whole 'reaching across the aisle' cliche—but choosing HRC for Secretary of State, in my mind, has about 3 pluses and 53 minuses (the main one being that she's the epitome of the 'old politics' Obama pledged to change, and as far as foreign policy is concerned, she fumbled The Big One by voting for the war, so i just can't see her as the standard bearer of an Obama foreign policy shift).

They (CBC “feminist”) have no problem taking on the causes of white feminism, to the detriment of their own. The feminism of colored women is not white feminism with black/brown/yellow/red face. The issues of value and modes of transforming the patriarchy are unique to the intersectionality of race and gender. More often than not, class and sexuality also factor in that intersection; womanism tends to be more inclusive of the varied representations of womanhood.

Clinton Impeachment Lawyer Chosen for White House Counsel

The lawyer who led the defense of President Bill Clinton during impeachment hearings has been selected to be White House counsel in the Obama administration, according to two publications.

The Washington Post and New York Times cite unnamed sources who say the appointment of Gregory Craig will be formally announced later this week. He is a partner at Williams & Connolly, the Wall Street Journal Law Blog reports.

So, as for Hillary's “pokey” response to the Obama's camp demands for extensive information – if she doesn't produce it, she's eliminated from consideration, and no amount of her supporters hollering “sexist” will reverse the decision because it will be on point.

Only the Bush Administration accepts responses like this and hires people for the job – more likely because they donated boatloads of cash to his stolen elections both times.
