it's not just you! i'm definitely in “wow, wow, wow!” several times a day. and thanks, melinda, cos i also cry almost everyday… a photo, a quote, a story, a warm & fuzzy feeling can set me off… all happy tears, but not my usual m.o. and i was beginning to worry :)

I am not a big fan of You Tube, Facebook and other social sites. As we have seen from the campaign one's own behavior can come back to bite them in the ass. I have no problem w/ being upfront about whom I think should be destroyed, those whom are cowards or the actions I think are necessary to wield power effectively.

We are running a government. Having one number to call at Justice, State, Defense or Treasury a dn advertising/marketing it over youtube is a worthwhile thing. Saying to people you can work on my transition but not Lobby for a year afterwards over the same site rings hollow. Nothing stops a lobbyist on the transistion team for buttonholing say Obama's successor as Senator over the same issue.

My solution is to have the President simply have press conferences where he is present once a week and to have the equivalent of a parllimentary grilling once a month by Congress. You do not have to play any favorites, can say I'll get back to you on that and in the case of the Parliamentary grilling determine where your support in your own party truly lies. Some of these guys truly do their homework and can alert the President to bad actions by members. Phil Gramm added the deregulation of CDO's, credit swaps and commodities into a bill in the dead of night. this means you have taken responsiblity and forces the press to do their job report the actions not make the actions.

Brilliant move. As already noted, this campaign will be studied for years to come. The Obama campaign has used technology and a grassroots movement like no other.

I've already received and completed a full job application for a non-career position after registering on change.gov immediately after the site was up.

I love the youtube weekly address and I absolutely love the way that the Obama team are using the web and text messages to continue to encourage grassroots participation while staying in touch with We the People.

It is not just you. I keep having these head shaking moments, where I think “he won He Won HE WON!!!!!” (WE won).

It's incredible. Unbelievable. When I heard about this youtube weekly address thing, I was thrilled. What a way to reach out. I rarely caught the presidential address on the radio on Saturday afternoons, but I can catch him on the internet every week? It's a GREAT way to stay connected and to make people feel a part of.

I am so excited. And I can't wait for this:
