It appears to me that this election has proven Blacks to be the most RACIST people as a group today. If a white person said “I voted for McCain because he is white” they would never hear the end of it.

I would not be surprise if Juan voted for Obama too, so lay off him.

I can't believe I use to listen to NPR and Juan Williams years ago. He's soured my view on him for good. He's a nasty piece of work and showing deference to Obama NOW doesn't lessen my disgust for Juan. Juck Fuan.

One of the pundits last night said that because of this election the rest of the world will look at our country with a new respect. I liked that.

I cried buckets of tears I was so happy and I'm still on cloud nine. I'll be praying alot for President Elect Obama that he has a very successful presidency and not just for his sake, but, for all of us and this great wonderful beautiful country of ours.

I still have no clue as to whom Juan Williams is and why he is relevant to anything. But, more power to him and his apparent negative vibe. I saw Smiley on this morning and he sounded like a total nitwit with his nonsense.

Obama is president of ALL Americans, and, its a special moment for African Americans and rightfully so, but, don't forget, it is for many of the rest of us as well.

one of my fave moments of last night….when britt hume seemed to genuinely enjoy the joyous jumping of the college kids outside the whitehouse. he wondered aloud about the primal joy of jumping. poor brit doesn't look like he has jumped up and down in a long while. i saw the little boy in him for just a moment. he was once a little boy too once. and he probably did once jump up and down abit. not too much but just a bit. it is probably true.

It seems that NPR Juan Williams is different from Fox News Juan Williams. I recently read one of his books, and he does seem to have a bit of a disconnect from the more activist base of African-Americans and younger people for that matter.

I'm going to bet that he's going to be more critical of Barack Obama as president than he would have been of anyone else, and this is just my perception as a Latina.

It is my opinion that Barack Obama has broken that word. It just doesn't mean anything now that it can be applied to the Fucking President of the United States. That was my only point, but it probably should have been kept to myself, sorry.

I think its appropriate to acknowledge the step forward that the nation took tonight, but that its MORE appropriate to acknowledge what it was that brought that step forward. Never before have so many played a direct role in our democracy. It is THAT that needs to be celebrated even moreso.
