Well lets begin this discussion with CPL, first and foremost you might want to review the principles of the Republican Party, prior to jumping on the entire organization.

First and foremost you might want to look at the principles of the Republican Party and although McCain may have made calculated mistakes in not reaching out to African-American community, is the a justifiable reason not to look at the issues and principles he stands for. Where in the Bible does it mention that gay marriage is ok. Where does it mention in the bible that abortion is ok. Why should the government have to give handouts to people who to lazy to get a job and want to live off the government. Where is the personal responsibility at. Has it fallen by the way side. Also, you might wanna get your facts straight because it was the Republican Party that lead the charge to pass the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Just like President Eisenhower, desegerated DC Public Schools, Little Rock, AR, Brown v.s. Board of Education Topeka, KS. Furthermore, he proposed to Congress the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1960 and signed those acts into law.

Now instead of being spoon feed by the liberal media do your homework and research Executive Order 10730, you will be reminded of the true facts of the matter.

No CPL, you might wanna apply the fundamentals to your examples of the prior examples of

First Stock Market Crash of 1929 (Hoover)

The Hoover Administration passage of the Emergency Relief and Construction Act which included funds for public works programs and the creation of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (RFC) in 1932. The RFC's initial goal was to provide government-secured loans to financial institutions, railroads and farmers. The RFC had minimal impact at the time, but was adopted by Franklin Delano Roosevelt and greatly expanded as part of his New Deal.

So what the difference between Hoover and Roosevelt, they both done the same thing, doesn't make sense.

- another Stock Market Crash in 1987 (Reagan)

Now I really don't think you wanna go there with this one because your boi Carter really screwed up the economy. If you don't remember ask someone about gas prices and the interest rates on mortgages during Carter's administration 18% mortgages. Just like a Democrat.

- Economic recession in the late 80s and early 90s (Bush, Sr)

And I guess President Clinton tax hikes were ok. Oh I forgot, nobody realized that when President Clinton was approaching the end of presidency the economy was entering slowdown. These economic conditions happen in cycles. No matter who is President. Economics 101, Economic Recovery, Economic Boom, Economic Slowdown, Economic Recession.

- current Wall Street Mess, Oil Crisis and overall shythole (Dubya's watch)

Now why don't you ask the Democrats why they didn't implement stronger oversight legislation, since they have been in charge of Congress in 2006.

Now CPL, to sum things up for you. I might want to read about the power of the U.S. Congress. Laws, be they criminal-based or economic-based are orginate in the U.S. Congress, not at the President's desk. Furthermore, I'm further surprised that you would list all these incidents since the Democrat's were in charge of the U.S. House from 1954 to 1995, which makes them just as responsible for some of the very same incidents you have listed. Please now I can continue with this discussion but I choose not to please educate yourself on the facts and stop being feed misinformation.

Now, Mr. Nate Wesley, I'm going to keep this short and brief for you where is the substance of the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, since this has been passed a long time ago (when I was born as a matter fact) where are the improvements in inner city DC, Baltimore, Philly, Pittsburgh, Jersey City, NYC, Bridgeport, CT, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, LA, Miami, Atlanta, come on now, How can you even type something like that and attempt to justify it when all you have to do is look at our inner-city communities. Show me the results, furthermore, is this act was such a success why did it allow for residents to be taken advantage of through sub-prime lending.

Now the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007, well I guess we will have to see what happens.

However in the end I will leave you with some Q/A

Howard University, founded by a Republican
NAACP, founded by Republicans

HBCU's founded and supported by Republicans

Democratic party founded by KKK.

Please remain loyal to the plantation, and keep coming on back now ya here.

Well JJP, I'm so proud to here the Democratic Army come out in full force for the party that so claims to represent our needs.

To the brother who says he is a "proud black republican" all I can say is "damn fool". A colleague and I are working on a book titled, "The Illusion of Inclusion" a book about our 20 years in the GOP. I could have written a far more explosive and damaging article about the GOP but that is not of value. They are doing a great job all on their own.

Thank you for the comments and interest in my op-ed in Today's Post.
