He was requesting paper ballots in case of the machines breaking down. I don't understand why the voting system if continually disorganized and basically f*cked up. This should of been taken care of as soon as Obama became the Dem. Nom. Didn't we learn anything from 2000 and 2004? It's Nov. 3rd!! Why are those who are having problems with voting/polling issues still working out the kinks and voting irregularities? <br><br>IT'S FLIPPING NOV. 3RD!!! <br><br>I work and attend school full time and I knew I'd be too tired to go to the polling place. When I relocated from my home state to another state 9 months ago, I made sure I went online and got my absentee ballot sent to my mom's house,. Then, she fwd to me. I didn't chance it at all. This election is too doggone important to put the faith in the voting booths. The Republicans are fighting dirty to hold onto power. We had all year to get this together! <br><br>UGH, this so irritating. I watched Hardball last night and the Pres. of NAACP Ben Jealous, was a guest discussing the problems with voting machines in pred. black communities in Virginia. Those long lines are difficult when you have children at home or other errands to run. My mom would do some serious multitasking to get dinner on the table in time to fly out the door to walk five blocks to vote. But I remember she was so happy when she returned to us -happy that she could cast a vote and wait it out on election night to see if her guy won. <br><br>Tough it out folks so we can make some noise when our guy wins!
