Thank you for posting those lists Green Lady. I have read lots of those before. There are some Latinos who are very well qualified, and many more that just haven't been given the opportunity yet. I have lots of commentary about this on my own blog.

And yes, Richardson for Commerce Secretary will be a big positive. :) He could always play musical chairs and do Sec. of State in a 2nd Obama administration.

Well the number of credible challenges to incumbent Presidents in our current primary system (circa 1972) is limited to 1. That's it. Challenging a front-runner for the nomination and challenging a sitting US President are two completely different things.

Can't really see Jr. in Justice working for Holder because they are two brothas with STRONG personalities.

If Jr. heads up Education, his wife can run for and probably get his Congressional seat – and that would be a first, having a CBC member's spouse actually succeed their partner in Congress. Sandi Jackson is already an elected official – she's an Alderman in Chicago and doing very well from all accounts, but this would be a good fit.

Jr. was going to challenge Daley for Mayor of Chicago a couple of years ago, which I thought was a step down. I'm glad he ran for re-election to his Congressional seat instead – plus, he wouldn't have to worry about re-election if he takes a Cabinet position.

But Obama has to offer it, first – so this is my wistful thinking going on.
