AP) The government is investigating whether any laws were broken in the disclosure that Barack Obama's aunt was living in the country illegally.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement asked its inspector general and the Office of Professional Responsibility on Saturday to investigate whether any policies were violated when information about Onyango's case was publicly disclosed, ICE spokeswoman Kelly Nantel said.

The Homeland Security Department, which oversees ICE, cannot disclose details about an individual's immigration status.

Green Lady, I told y'all where Osama bin Forgotten is: on a beach in Malibu, sans beard, chilling with some beach bunnies, sipping Long Island Iced Teas and LHAO at the United States' "attempt" to find his ass.

They could find one of Obama's 99 million relatives from Kenya, but can't find Osama. Yeah, RIGHT.

And it's such a Non-Issue that even the networks can't drum up any enthusiasm. If the Bush Administration had more than this, they would have long come out with it in time to tank Obama's campaign.

Like Craig, I remain anxious. But I do know this; if anyone OTHER than Obama is named the winner, there will be REVOLUTION up in this bitch, and it won't be Black People starting it.

It will be angry white people who worked their asses off to get Obama elected, who will feel the most disenfranchised and ripped off. There will be a Civil War in this country that will make the Civil War of 1861 look like a Church Picnic.

Mark my words on this. Too many whites have given up a lot to get this brotha elected and they won't go quietly, either.

This seems like a desperate hail mary pass by the right wing. Hopefully these sort of tawdry tactics will usher in a much needed Civil War amongst the GOP to restore a modicum of dignity to their party. I hope with all my heart that by the time 2012 comes around, the Goldwater conservative wing of the Republican party will have a stronger influence, thus putting an end to this strangle hold the Neocon/Evangelical wing has had over them. . . gettin' real sick of their appeal to the lowest common denominator. Remember the 2006 Lebanon War, and all the home videos that came out from evangelical churches across the country? Remember then celebrating the bloodshed and carnage, because they believed that this conflict was touching off WWIII and Jesus coming back? Holy hell, I'd like to see those idiots stop voting/lobbying and let the rational adults go back to running the country. . . Either the Democrats or the aforementioned Goldwater Conservative GOP.
