Michelle Obama is a racial-minority individual, and in her heart and mind she inevitably does not endorse hate crimes committed by George W. Bush.

George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).

George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.

And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.

Many people know what Bush did.

And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.

Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memories so they never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.

I didn't hear anything new from their interview, but to me, the chemistry alone was so palpable. They both glow! They can't keep their hands off each other. And, yes 'm going there and offer no apologies: They are have a healthy sex life!

When they talked about the size and type of dog, Barack's Alpha male came through. “I want a big rambunctious dog.” Michelle: “There're lots of girls around our house” Their connection is very tangible. I, for one, am enjoying every moment watching them together. It is refreshing, and it's about time we get to see a beautiful, smart, accomplished couple, another couple other than Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

I also saw Barbara's VIEW segment after she interviewed the Obama's where she announced that they were going to be invited to the WH. Elizabeth Hasselbeck was really giving off strong hate vibes. If she doesn't want to go they could care less. So what! She is such a hater and her personality is so ugly. Maybe she should take a leave of absence until she gets over it.

I did note, however, that the “race question” was tackled by Ms. Walters in a different way depending on who she was questioning . Of Mr Obama, it was more implicit. While not referring to the fact that he is the first African-American president, she posed this question(not verbatim), “while there has been an outpouring of goodwill towards you but there has also been the reported increase in racist violence, burning of crosses, racist internet postings, more threats against you than any president in history, why do you think this is happening?” Here, he takes the opportunity to offer a similar but more crisp and finessed answer than the one he gave to Steve Kroft earlier in the month.

In that interview, Steve asked him in part, “…the emotion of that night was fueled in part by the fact that you were the first African American to be elected, did you feel that?” Here, he clumsily side-stepped the question by being unnecessarily verbose about Marion Robinson's life, before finding his way back with the “perfect” answer about the “enormous progress” that America has made with regards to race relations and on what standards was used to judge him.

To Mrs.Obama, Ms.Walters' question was more explicit, “As America's first black first lady, do you feel additional responsibility about how you carry out your role?” Of, course, Mrs. Obama was ready. She punted by saying, “I don't think about it in those terms…[I will be a] role model for the entire country.”

Yawn. Now, will journalists stop asking them about race, in whatever permutation? Pretty please?

Now to something else. Mrs. Obama glowed last night – the ambience, the dress, the makeup, the lighting, the direction from which she was shot, just everything. Contrast that to the 60 minutes interview where her features were made to look harsh and unflattering.

I also kept looking at their hands; they were magnets, where if they were not touching, there was an instinct on either one or the other's part to touch. Amazing chemistry. If only I could be a fly on that wall, if you get my drift. I mean no disrespect, of course.

Oh, and there is one follow up question that I would have for Mr. Obama. He alluded to the fact that his mother would have been more apt to believe that he could be president than his grandmother – grandmother's realism versus mother's idealism, I assume – but said that she would, nevertheless, have been surprised by HOW he did it. What did he mean by that? What would have surprised her about HOW he did it? Yeah, that would be my follow up question. I'm anal like that. I wanna know everything.

Was my heart the only one that skipped a beat when Barbara asked him about the hate groups? I liked his answer, which was clearly designed to reassure nervous folks like me – but I want to know more specifics about how they check out these threats? How does the SS shadow him exactly? What about with the little Obamas running around? I know, I know – the public isn't supposed to get all the details, but still…

I will post a response later. Mostly some very interesting observations. No opinion(except about Michelle's aesthetics).
