She says to me often, “You used to wait for me to come home from work and now I wait for you to come home from work.”
Good lord….if that doesn't sound familar, I swear. When I got home from work, I'd ask her how was her day…..She always said…..”same old 6 and 7! lol She was so sweet. I still love her. Love never dies!
I can understand about the frustration. Seeing someone you love with Alzheimers can be very stressful. My mother didn't have it but an uncle did and it was hard for his children. So I understand. You're a good daughter and your reward is waiting. God will remember your honor! Hang in there! Thanks for sharing about your Mom, it was good for me because it reminded me of mine! Thanks!

Your sharing is so heartfelt. JJP is most definitely the place to come and share, learn and grow. I've only been coming here for about a month or so. Folks here are well versed, well educated, wickedly funny, and passioantely commited to the a true and just political process.

I've been down in NC all week on business and folks are fired up down here. For real. I took a taxi from the airport and we weren't 3 minutes into the drive when the cabbie asked me “So, did you early vote yet?” I told him no because NJ doesn't have early voting but I will be there bright and early next week. He said be sure you don't forget, and take everybody you know to the polls. Everybody I talked to is so excited about the election, and about Obama. I think the NC results are going to shock a lot of people.

Two Words: JIM CLYBURN.
He put the fear of God into Bill Clinton. Trouble was, Bill didn't get the message and have his “come to Jesus” moment until lately, and after his wife got the boot out of the Democratic Nomination.
Imagine how much more milage he could have gotten if he'd gotten over his sense of “entitlement” and desire for a “de-facto” third term through Hillary sooner.
I'm still kinda pissed about that because it dragged shyt out until the convention in Denver, and it was not necessary.
