Palin Stumped Again On Her Strong Suit….Energy!
If Gov. Sarah Palin, by John McCain's estimation, “knows more about energy than probably anyone in the United States of America,” then why is she getting such basic facts about our nation's energy production wrong?
At a townhall event in Wisconsin on Thursday, Palin was asked by a concerned questioner whether it was true that the United States was shipping 75 percent of its Alaskan oil overseas. She responded by proclaiming it impossible, since Congress had put strict bans on the amount of oil and gas that America could export.

excellent. This is what folks need to see. I enjoyed seeing him tear up and nervously to with his ring as Michelle spoke. Also, seeing him talk about the Jonas Brothers was interesting. He seemed truly relaxed. This was a different view for me; so I really think it's compelling.
I almost want something candid/infomercially on the Obama channel or some sort of special interview. It really humanizes him.
In any case, I enjoyed it tremendously.

One clip shows her claiming she fired him for his weakness in rural alcohol abuse issues. Another shows her saying right after firing him she offered him a new job as head of the Alcohol Beverage Control Board because he was strong in the very same area. If the public sees her lie in detail in this video, they won’t trust what she says overall:

I'm in my early 40s, so ideally I'm 20-25 years away from retirement (ideally being the key word). The plan you described is close to what I have, which is a mix of high-risk, high-return stocks with a couple of more conservative mutual funds, with the intent of going more conservative the closer I get to retirement age.
It sucks to see my statement go down like that, but I'm not in panic mode just yet because there's still years for my funds to rebound. But I feel awful for the folks who are retired and getting ready to. You spend all those years doing what you think are the right things for a secure retirement, and then when you're all set to do it the rug gets pulled out. Talk about betrayal of trust.
