We know what she was doing. Playing ignorant to that fact means nothing. I am constantly schooling the folks at my kids school (less than 2% black student body) about the value of diversity, explaining that as black kids especially my boys will have to have the best education, work harder, and strive to be 5 times smarter than white kids in order to be considered equal. That is just the way life is at this point. Maybe it will change in another decade or so but right now, that is where we are.

Ya'll know I don't push the black/white meme simply because I believe you are going to find ignorant assholes in every shape size and color but I am not dumb enough to not recognize we have a long way to go in race relations and I make it a point to have those conversations with the people I meet so they know that I know what time it is. They don't play with me and they make an extra effort to ask questions and openly address any issues. I have learned from them and they learn from me.

Why can't people call Obama all sorts of names and threaten death on him?

Why SHOULDN'T they disrespect him? After all, McCain disrespected him to his face TWICE.

If McCain is a decent person, he'd FORCEFULLY say “Violence and disrespect will NOT be tolerated.”

But who would believe him, since again, he's been disrespecting Obama TO HIS FACE? He needs to lead by example, and I don't think that he will because he's losing and desperate.
