  • Against Race Politics
I liked the Madeline Albright segment better- where she proved Sarah Palin the LIAR that she is!
  • roschelle
In spite of all the race card throwing, hatred and intolerance that has surfaced in the last few weeks surrounding this historical campaign...there is little doubt that we still have come a long way....especially after reading that the 109 year old daughter of former slave cast her vote for Barack Obama....Yes We CAN!
  • MotorCityBadBoy
This was an EXCELLENT analogy, especially for us guys. It explained it in a way that really resonates with us. I just wish the Lions could play as well as Obama.
  • xrugly
I love her show and all but....
she needs to stay away from the sports stuff. That explanation was tortured. I got it but it was a long way from elegant.

I just voted in marietta georgia...Newts home, bright red... call me crazy but that was a democratic looking and feeling line of some 3 hundred I stood with. And if that implies that marietta, east cobb county, is going obama then the republican party is in deep sheet, heck if east cobb county even splits the repubs are in deep nationally.

Note I speak confidentally only after I VOTED!!

Ahh screws it it ain't like this blog is well read in Republican circles anyway...

/this thing is tipping big. If past records are anything then the line I was just in should have looked like the crowd in Little Rock back then. but it didn't.
It should look like the republican convention, white tight and a bit mean. but it didn't...
It looked like the democratic convention... loose cool happy and most of all it looked like America. lots of colors, pasty biege to black black and every thing in between...

It was a cool line and a very cool place to be chatting. If this is what we can do together then america will be ok, we may have woken up just in time, maybe.

    Good analogy by Maddow.

And, although Ed Rendell is being the good soldier, I still have a problem with him. I hope he doesn't think we forgot his race-baiting during the primaries.
  • GreenLadyHere
    RonnieB: Co-sign!! Rendell . . . I still have a problem with him. . .

ABSOLUTELY!!!! I was trying to find the right words! YOU HAD THEM!! :>) :>)

    I THANK YOU!! :>) :>)
