Town/msmartin: David Gergen is pretty level. I think he (and indirectly james carvelle) merely said what the rest of the panel was too nervous to say: racism is alive and well in america and trying to get it's stamp on this election. But as I said yesterday: I believe that it is difficult for some who have been disillusioned with the McCalin farse to openly support Obama. Some folks claiming that losing ticket will pay them lip service to save face in their social circles but in the booth will put down Obama/Biden. My wife said yesterday at a nearby Sam's Club here in the Lou, some white women surrounded another white woman who was wearing an Obama shirt and apparently ran her out of the store in tears.
Most MSM wont really deal with it.

CraigHickman: I agree; no one, black or white or other who says they are for Obama is lying. But some who say they are for McCalin are! I believe we will turn a new chapter in this election and it took a brother to make it happen. I'm jumping on that landslide!

Obama knocked it out the park imo. Not only did he answer the questions with specifics, but he turned the McCain campaign's caricature of him being someone who's not ready to lead this country on it's ear!

McCain proved that he wanted to star in the sequel to Grumpy Old Men. The town hall format that he was begging for didn't help him at all. He looked so fragile and sickly, and he was too busy trying to tear down Obama instead of answering the questions. And he stooped to an all-time low with the “that one” comment. How condescending and disrespectful! No wonder his supporters feel they are free to call Obama a “terrorist” and say “Kill him!” at McPalin rallies.

If she was that “bummed out”, you just saw her political leanings. She knows she drank Obama haterade in the past and it's caught on tape (more than likely YouTube).

I work at a college as a counselor in the disability services center, you know how hectic this time of the year is! And it's only gonna keep going until after finals *sigh* But I'm slowly coming back to JJP.

I really am past these people. When I kept watching the news at 12:30 in the morning and Pat B. is saying that McCain won, and Dark Sith is talking about “Obama held his own”, I throw up my hands and start focusing on what people in their right minds have to say. No one is taking them too seriously.

You know what the Repugnantcan's problem is right now? They are functioning outside of the realm of reality. People have had a serious wake-up call, and rhetoric alone won't cut it anymore. The Repugnantcan's would be taken more seriously if they said something along the lines of “Yes, Barack won, but McCain held his own and will come back stronger than ever”. (He won't but that's beside the point, you know they have to stand by their man). But the blatant refusal to state what everybody else saw makes them seem out of touch. As we all know, that's the last image they should want to throw out there.
