Obama contnues to defy critics. He is a strong fighter and leader. I can't say enough about how impressive Obama is as a leader, the truest leader we've had in a very long time. My purpose is renewed in doing all I can on the ground in making Obama our President.

Lexus, exactly. I guess my metaphor wasn't as succinct.as it could be. Barack still has the role as President to remove and appoint staff and cabinet members who can help him reshape/refine the policies that the Bush admin. has diluted and destroyed for the last 8 years.

Actually, it will take more than brillo pads, etc. …. it will take US. Remember that Barack has never said HE will change this country, he has said WE will change this country. If we think we can kick back after the inauguration, we are going to be disappointed. Each one of us needs to figure out what we will do to be a part of an Obama presidency. As Novelista said “the battle won't be over once he gets into the White House.”
