Good morning.

I would like to point out that so far, JJP has raised $ 1, 605.00 of its $ 5,000.00 goal. I would like to thank everyone who has donated. And, anyone else who can give whatever they can, it will be appreciated.

As we begin this final week of the campaign, stick with us here at JJP. We’ll be able to help one another through as the nerves begin to frazzle.

Because you have compassion for the pain this family is going through! The family is going through pain & grief that is beyond description. We are moved by it. So we cry out to God to help ease their hurt!

D., are some of those things said about McCain/Palin disrespectful. Of course. But please do not try to give thes episodes regarding Obama equivalence. The Republican Party at all levels has used Obama’s name as a “slur”—and Americans wonder why we can’t change Arab/Muslim’s perception of us.
They have accused this man of “palling around with terrorist” conservative talk shows call him a black man-child, fellow Congress members claiming he is anti-American and many more outrageous things. It has been an outright character assassination attempted carried out on Obama. AND YOU KNOW IT TOO.

I read this earlier today. This is just such a tragically ironic incident. A child accidentally shoots himself at a gunshow, under supervision deemed “safe” for all. I know there is a lesson to be learned on so many fronts with this. Regardless of why, how, I feel for this child's parents. I really do…..Lord watch over them.

The Todd incident didn’t merit a response from me. Yes, the supporters are rabid, but nothing about that case smelled right. So, when it all fell apart, I wasn’t surprised.
This whole election-from the Obama ascendancy to Sarah Palin-has brought out the worst in us as a country. And the next eight years may well be the same as the last eight, in that regard. We judge correctness by our political philosophies; things are assigned rightness and wrongness based on our side of the aisle.
In that, we’re all hypocrites; none better than the rest.
I love my country and what she stands for. But I hate what we’ve become.

I haven’t seen it but I don’t really give most comics out there (sans Chris Rock,) the mental credit. Too many of the popular comedians, DL Hughly, are hacks. They go for the easy joke which underscores a stereotype as opposed to criticizing it. They do this because they can’t make the people who pay their check uncomfortable… Can you imagine Paul Mooney on CNN? HELLLLLL NAW. Chris Rock would not give a damn either.
There are jokes you might tell you close friends or family, and then there’s jokes you can say at work. They are not always the same jokes.
