I wonder why you didn't care for W. Was it too sympathetic in your view? I thought that Josh Brolin nailed him! If you haven't, you must see the Charlie Rose interview of Brolin and Oliver Stone about making the film, and how Brolin says that he pretended that he was a rat in a maze to prepare for the part. I did think that the Karl Rove character could have been more ugly, (i.e. fatter and more calculating). Ellen Burstyn was too pretty to be Mama Bush. But I could sense the real conflict between Poppy Bush and W. And Thandie Newton nailed Condi's mannerisms.

There is a HUGE wave of creative bands in the US and UK underground, mostly noise and new folk people, bunch of Leftists.

But I doubt that it has anything to do with Bush.

From my distant observation – I am just a consumer!- there IS cynicism and victimization mostly than objectivism in dealing with 9/11.

But address the UK crime against humanity by getting rid of Chagoans from their homeland [Chagos Island] for USA to make it a military base and constantly denying them the RIGHT to go back.

How McCain/Palin is getting free passes to the point they own the amusement park while Barack has to work for everything and still to some white people, it's not enough.

The BBC America channel is all I watch these days.

IMHO, the best artistic response to the Bush Presidency will always be the film, “V for Vendetta.” That film really said it all. I encourage anyone who has not seen it, to rent it.
