ITA. Just saying that McCain is wrong about Obama being a “socialist” and a “Marxist” is not enough. As journalists, they should have broken down exactly what socialism is and how it in no way resembles Obama's tax plan. That's what fact checking is supposed to be about.

If anything the McToast campaign is BELITTLING the American public, let alone Obama, by insulting our intelligence day in and day out. Funny how out of all the “fact checking”, CNN hasn't presented the contrast between SOCIALISM and the decades long American institution of a progressive tax system.

Chris Matthews is about the only acting like he got some damn sense on this topic.

I and my partner live in Arizona and so are constituents of Senator John McCain. We don't have a lot of money. We have each contributed multiple times to the Obama for America campaign, in small amounts.

This talking point about the contributions for us equals John McCain (and his mouthpieces and trolls) insulting us, his actual constituents.

I understand that for John McCain and his mouthpieces, we do not exist.

It is deeply offensive and in my perspective it is a form of ethical malpractice on McCain's end. There is is, a U.S. Senator — our Senator — promoting such lies about those of us who have donated to his able and competent opponent.
