"In charge of" the Senate. Really. I'm pleased she'll never have to explain that to Sens. Clinton, Reid, or for that matter Hatch. What an idiot. Granted she was trying to speak to a 5th grader in terms he could understand, but I thought it was really revealing.

And no, she doesn't look like she's wearing $150K! As Rachel Maddow said last night, the only real question in response to that story . . . the one that's eating Gov. Palin herself . . . does she get to keep the clothes?!?! I'm sure she'll put them on ebay. Yeah right.

Obie: Hey! :>) FYI

The Vice President of the United States[1] is the first person in the presidential line of succession, becoming the new President of the United States upon the death, resignation, or removal of the president, should he or she accept the position. Every presidential term ends on January 20 of the year immediately after a presidential election. As designated by the Constitution of the United States, the vice president also serves as the President of the Senate, and may break tie votes in that chamber.[2] He or she may be assigned additional duties by the president but, as the Constitution assigns no executive powers to the vice president, in performing such duties he or she acts only as an agent of the president.

Seee the difference? She kinda thinks that she is going to be "imputed" to a "Senate position" without going through a State Election Process!

Annnnnnd, at the rate things are heating up against her in Alaska, I DON'T THINK SO!

Annnnd, since we won't get to see it, I would love to HAVE see her first meeting with the Senate. That would be a "HOOT!" :>) :>)

Par exemplo: Madam Vice President: What are your views on Senate Bill XXXX that we were discussing in our last session?

The Gov.: Well, I believe in "world peace", "saving the whales and the MOOSE" and preventing NU-KU-LAR something or other; "SUCH AS. . . "

PAGEANT-Thank you! PAGEANT - smile PAGEANT-wave!

Annnnnnnd, she EXITS STAGE LEFT!!! :>)

This further begs the question why when John McCain and his idiot side kick say, "McCain's been tested," Joe Biden hasn't responded (to clean up the mess of his making), "yeah you have, John, and you've failed. The entire world watched you the last three weeks during the worse economic crisis since the Great Depression flail and respond incoherently. When well respected members of your own Party cross Party lines because of your poor judgement and eratic behavior, it means you've failed, and Senator Obama passed, and, NO, there are no make-up exams or do overs in the Presidency!"

Why is that so hard?!

Why is that so hard?!

rikyrah: Just brought this "down from Alaska!":

http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/10/21/palins...
That’s right. In a national NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll 55% of Americans now feel that Sarah Palin is unqualified to be President, up from 50% two weeks ago. As we all know, breaking that 50% mark is pretty convincing. I think that we can now safely say, that according to Americans, Sarah Palin is not qualified.

We’ve been spreading the news since the morning of August 29, and it seems that it only took 54 days to convince the majority of the country. Not bad.

The one candidate whose popularity has fallen is Gov. Palin, the Republican vice-presidential nominee. Voters are less likely to see her in a positive light, and much more likely to report negative feelings.

Fifty-five percent of voters say Gov. Palin isn’t qualified to be president if the need arises, up from 50% two weeks ago. And when given a list of possible concerns about Sen. McCain, voters were by far most likely to say they worry about Gov. Palin’s qualification to be president.

Obama-Biden '08!! TRUST!! :>)
