I'll bet the Kitten with a scope rifle is too cute. I sure hope I get to see it. I love Kitties! I remember Rikyrah posting a pic of Kittens in a cup & they were so adorable.

Then I'm reminded of the sentencing laws which gave birth to “three strikes” and shyt, meaning that a guy could have two convictions for drug dealing but if he was caught stealing a pizza, the three strikes rule kicked in with a 25-to-life sentence for pizza stealing. And you know it was disproportionately applied to African-Americans and Latinos as a way to get our brothas off the streets.

White Collar crimes should carry more stiffer penalties because in the name of greed, the greedy gain at the expense of the poor and middle class. They should be made to serve in jail right along side of hardened felons like murderers and armed robbers (I've always been of the opinion perverts like pedophiles and rapists should be in their own wing, but if they get thrown in with General pop., there is such a thing as “honor among criminals”). The light sentences do not facilitate rehabilitation, but lets them know they get a second chance.

Clinton started the inequity in sentencing, trying to stay one step ahead of the ReThugs. The inequity in sentencing needs to be addressed, and modified so that the sentence, barring mitigating circumstances, fits the actual crime committed.

These CEOs had no business getting bonuses for poor performance. Anywhere else, they're fired for incompetence and if they are allowed severance pay, they got off lucky.

With this complete unraveling of our economic system afoot, I hope it clear that WHITE COLLAR GREED is way more dangerous and pervasive than blue collar crimes. There are so many ways these animals make fast and easy money off the poor that we DON'T even know all the ways – yet.

There are lots of poor people going down for 7 to10-year bids because of stealing whatever. However white collar criminals hurt thousands and 10s of thousands of people by stealing, too. And the ripple affect is even worse tahn the loss of goods…their crimes are responsible for people losing their jobs and not be able to earn a living wage. And their crimes put poor people in a position of NOT BE ABLE to provide for their families. And, still the poor are considered the morally bankrupt and the rich are considered shrewd businessmen.

This is now time the time to discuss the moral assault the poor have suffered for years. I apologize for not being eloquent or concise with my thoughts here… So Town, Anderkoo, CPL, or somebody weigh in on this.

Greed knows no bounds. I cannot believe some people can sit by and watch this type of ridiculousness and not want to do anything about it!
