I am a fan of Olbermann these days.

I think that Jon Stewart an excellent job of satirizing this idea of "real america v. fake america" recently on The Daily Show.

and my personal favorite: "Understanding Real America in Wasilla"

I love my man Keith Olbermann. And it 's a shame that a Black man can't say the same thing and be received with the same credibility,

So I gotta call out my Latino brothers ... come on up! My Filipino brothers ... where you at? My Korean brothers ... don't you have dog in this fight? My Hawaiian kama'aina ... be heard! Navajo nation ... speak on it!

When some nobody white gal from Minnesota dares to question the patriotism of a biracial man with Hawaiian heritage or a decorated General and Secretary of State with Black American identity, everybody ought to be outraged. Because in questioning Barack Obama and Colin Powell, she's questioning everybody.

They lack BIG picture thinking. Long after this election is just a memory, the hatred will continue. How very UNAmerican- ruin the country!
  • Esquire
I am glad Keith has kept on plugging away at the Republican hypocrisy despite MSNBC trying to tone him down. Once again, his commentary was on point.

Bachmann's opponent started the day at $4000 in donations. By the time she finished flapping her yap on Friday, her opponent had over $500K in donations.

Minnesota wants this Ann Coulter wanna-be the hell up out of Congress. LOL
  • icebergslim
My sister lives in Minnesota and that Bachmann has been on television trying to LIE that she did not mean what she said. Minnesotans are working to retire Bachmann for GOOD.
  • Anovelista
"A million rules - but only for the other guy..."

    Exactly!

    Governor, your prejudice is overwhelming."

"An unstable congresswoman named Michelle Bachmann."

"Rush Limbaugh, the Grand Wizard of the School of Reactionary Non-Thought"

    PREACH!

*Waiting for the good Rev. Jeremiah Wright to make his appearance in Palin-McCain commercials. The CHICKENS! Are coming home.... to ROOST!

    Hahahaa!!!

The idiots at the hate rallies don't know and/or still will not acknowledge that they are the "America" Rev. Wright was referring to.

"The idiots at the hate rallies don't know and/or still will not acknowledge that they are the "America" Rev. Wright was referring to."

You are so on point! Its good to see this mentality exposed to the light for all to see. It is hard to remain in denial because there is nothing de-facto about it. Its blatantly in the face of the nation. Will our America damn it?
  • Anovelista
Hopefully, it will be pointed out (Olbermann? Maddow?) when the inevitable Rev. Wright commercials come.

Play Rev. Wright's famous 2 minutes and juxtapose it to the images of the hatemongers at the Palin-McCain rallies shouting and waving monkeys with Obama stickers on it. Show the idiot in Ohio who hung a "ghost" of Obama in effigy with racial and ethnic slurs on it. Tell the story of the black bear found dead - shot in the head (in NC I believe) with Obama stickers on its body.

And definitely show the bullies in W. Virginia who shouted slurs and other harrassment at early voters waiting in line to vote.

Yep, the residents of "pro-America" America are exactly who Rev. Wright was talking about.
