I watched Ted Koppel's documentary, The Last Lynching, on the Discovery Channel. In the documentary attorney Morris Dees, founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center, talked about the case of lynching victim Michael Donald, and how they tried to get the KKK prosecuted because they gave the orders to the two KKK underlings to carry out the murder. The KKK's defense was, "Well, we can't help it if there are nuts within our organization. Those two guys were a couple of nuts!". Sound familiar?

The courts didn't buy it and Dees won a $7M judgement against the KKK.

It is INSANE that McCain has the nerve to call someone else DISGRACEFUL! He is the disgrace, and the way he has run his campaign has now ruined any legacy he had hoped to have.

Olbermann is correct, McCain is RESPONSIBLE for the his supporters' reactions to flames of racism that he and Palin have fanned. In additionhe is responsible for anything they MIGHT do in the future. As for Palin, I can only hope she slithers back under the rock from which she came.

If these tactics don't show that McCain has EXTREMELY poor judgement, I don't know what will...
