I can see that you have some rhetoric of your own. The broken record that uses words like eloquence, rhetoric, articulate, etc to describe the now President Elect of this great nation OR rather this nation via to become great again shows you have been really listening. However, you only hear what you want when you use filters like that for one speaker and not for the other. McCain has not told me how I personally would be better off with him because he has no specifics. Giving my whole family a $5000 credit OR even an actual refund to use for health care will not make a dent in the $11,400 that my family health plan costs. I pay half and my employer pays the rest FOR NOW. I doubt he will continue to pay it OR ever cover my college age kid when he finds out that the money used to pay BOTH halfs will be taxed under McCains plan. You and I, if listening, heard Obama say I can keep my health care plan that I have with my employer but under his plan, my 19yr old can be covered. OUTSIDE of health care, I and my husband have a COMBINED income of $55,000. Obama has said, there again we both heard him if we listened, that our taxes will be lowered BY tax cuts for saving, education, mortgage costs, and childcare so that our taxes are 20% less. I want the capital gains taxes cut on my small, small business. Its small like $25,000/ year and Obama will eliminate taxes on all capital gains I earn on investments made with that money. I would guess that you make much more money than me. Therefore, you should have voted for McCain as I am sure you did. If Obama does not follow through, I am far from a first time voter; its not beyond me to vote again. P.S. Get use to the fact that we have a new president, he's darker than us BUT that does not define him. As for healing this ecomomy, maybe he can't. However, more deregulation and coporate tax breaks for multi-mil corps, which McCain has supported, is NOT the solution.

I don't see why Obama supporters are trying to use the old speech from Ronald Reagan to help support thier campaign. They went to great lengths to have an deceases individual to help their cause. This whole election is so far out of hand this year that it wouldn't suprise me if many Americans voted for Mickey Mouse because it seems like we would be better off. This election it seems that we all have the desicion to vote for the lesser of the two evils. When Americans vote today, don't just vote for the canidates color of skin. Vote for the one who brought subjects to light that hit close to home.

SMH. Before you put "uneducated" and "typical Obama supporters" in the same sentence do your research. There is no such thing as a "typical supporter" in this election. Are many (most) blacks voting for Obama? Of course. Why shouldn't we? We have supported every "typical" presidential candidate since we gained the right to vote. Moreover, he is influencing AMERICANS of all races, religion, ages, etc.. So in a nutshell, there is no such thing a "typical Obama supporter". As far as uneducated, illiterate, and the other things u mentioned, last time I checked I was very literate and very educated. Contrary to what you may believe, I find that to be true of most (pretty much all) McCain supporters. They call Obama a socialist, more than likely without knowing the definition(uneducated), say they won't vote for a Muslism, which he is not(racist), or simply not voting because he is black (racist and immoral). But hey, at the end of the day we have a document called the Constitution that protects our right to vote and freedom of speech. So though I may disagree with and dislike your ignorance, you do have the constitutional right.
Obama-Biden '08

I completely agree. Can one Obama supporter explain what he has ever done in his life to make him a capable president? Can you explain how you expect him to miraculously acquire the ability to "fix" everything without any experience? He's made a whole lot of promises but doesn't seem to have any answers when it comes to fulfilling them.

I have to correct Bob on one thing. "W" did his undergraduate work at Yale, and his graduate studies at Harvard.

However, his point about "W" being the biggest jackass to hold that office is on point.

Obama is going to CRUSH Senator Grumpy McNasty on Tuesday.

He's going to humiliate Caribou Barbie.

McBush ran a lousy campaign, and not all the racists, and lobbyists, and sleazy tactics in the world are going to give the election to him.

McBush should have been throwing "W" under the bus at every campaign stop, instead he said "they shared a philosophy."

And offering to tax my health care premiums? Thanks, John. Oh..and fuck you too.

And a guy (McBush) who has SEVEN houses and a wife who made FOUR MILLION DOLLARS last year, can't really be serious when he says "I'm looking out for JOE THE PLUMBER." Can he?

Senator McBush? Governor Squareglasses?

Fuck you both.

Oh, and I will say this.

Having a for profit health care system in America is not only unfair, it's unbelievably unethical.

Obama wants to provide all children with health insurance Children never ask to be brought into this world, and they're not able to provide benefits for themselves. How it's going to work is said to be seen, but I think it's something that needed to be done a long time ago. I think every child should have health insurance regardless if they can afford it or not.

One way we could reform health care and lower the costs is to change our lifestyle. We need to clean up the environment that poisons us, and make nutritious foods affordable to everyone. I'm not a big supporter of the Farm Bill. I think if the government is going to subsidize any farmer it should go to farmers who grow the foods we should be getting at least five servings of a day, and not to corn for high fructose corn syrup.

Five of the six leading causes of death in America are nutrition related. I think fast food and foods that are genetically modified and pumped full of steroids should be heavily taxed, because they're the main cause of chronic disease.

I'm 27 years old, and my generation is inheriting a country that is in decline. Our environment is a disaster, our water is polluted, chronic disease is running rampant amongst the American people, and America has the highest level of child poverty than any other country in the developed world. The last eight years have made the rich richer, and the poor poorer. I watched the last eight years of failed policies push my hard working ditch digging father into the working poor category. He filed bankruptcy last year because he couldn't afford his medical bills.

The level of human suffering amongst the working poor is unacceptable. I still can't fathom for the life of me why we find it perfectly acceptable for people to suffer just because they don't make a lot of money. What kind of American dream is that?

I'm voting for Obama because he doesn't come from privilege. He was brought up in modest circumstances and he really understands the struggles and hardship plaguing the working family. He encourages us to take initiative and get involved in our community, and by working together we can make the country a fair and just society.

I respect and admire John McCain very much. I would have rather spent the last eight years with him being the president instead of George W. Bush. I think America needs to head in a different direction if we're ever going to be able to compete in this global economy we created. I happen to think that person is Barack Obama.

Who ever said our current president has a degree from Harvard needs to get his or hers facts straight, He has a degree from Yale. He graduated bottom of his class. That doesn't
change the fact that he is a dummy of epic proportion. I don't understand the right wing, intelligence is seen as elite. I don't know about the rest of you but I want my president to be smarter than me. Obama will win because he is smarter, has better policies and has stuck to the issues that are important to the American people. I believe we will leave racism in the gutter where it belongs. If anyone is on the fenc, think about your family and future, then think about the candidate who has inspired Hope and change.
Then think about about the candidate who is preaching fear and division. Lastly ask yourself are we better as a nation than we were 8 years ago? If you consider those points your answer will be easy as to who to cast your vote for on Tuesday Nov 4th BARACK OBAMA!!!!!!!!
