I found it condescending and sexist in the way that he addressed her.

That, however, doesn't excuse what she was saying or Palin. They were BOTH wrong.

My favorite part is when Matthews said "You're doing the best you can Nancy" near the end. It's like "we all know this must be a difficult job defending someone like Palin who is so far out of her league".

Yep, it was breathtaking. This is what you call hardball. Chris is on the warpath. He really is carrying & expressing the moral outrage of everyone who is petrified by the thought of her ascending to the highest office in the nation. She has probably been getting over her whole life.
