    rikyrah,
    Great Post!
I watched the event live and the video, and it just gets funnier. Both did well, but I like Sen Obama's sarcasm best. I love it! I took me a minute to get the FAUX News joke. Dang he is good.
  • spirit_55z
LOL! (paraphrasing here) faux news will accuse him of having two black daughters in wedlock

I liked the line of mchame : I have the feeling in a room with all these democrats, that some of you are for me, and then he mentions Billary. ummm! Humor is so revealing isn't it?

EDITORIAL ENDORSEMENT UPDATE: Obama Gains 5, McCain 2

    By Dexter Hill

    Published: October 16, 2008 11:30 AM ET

NEW YORK As many know, E&P as in 2004 is offering regular (soon, daily) updates on newspaper endorsements of Obama and McCain. Since our last update on Monday, the Obama campaign has picked up five more papers, bringing his total to 39. The readership of those papers now stands at 3,531,284.

The McCain-Palin ticket has the support of two more newspapers, one in New Hampshire and the other in Texas. The daily circulation of his 15 newspapers totals 1,500,163.

The biggest pickup was The Commercial-Appeal in Memphis going for Obama, but it had gone for the Democrat the last time, as well. Obama also picked up the Arkansas Times. McCain's biggest gain was the Union-Leader in New Hampshire, a reliably GOP paper.

Please send any endorsements you see or make to:
    gmitchell@editorandpublisher.com

Here is the latest chart. As always, we include in brackets who the paper went with in 2004 with B=Bush and K=Kerry.
