Does anyone know if there is a way for Canadians to donate to the Obama campaign? I tried on the website but you must be a U.S. citizen.

Thanks for the love, Jill! I usually give in $10, $15 or $25 increments … but I thought with two weeks left… stretch 'till it hurts. I want so bad for this to happen! With a partner I registered 100 new voters this weekend in East Oakland… I figure that $100 was a dollar thanks for each voter!

I gave more money just now. Seriously though, I'm a freelancer so funds are TIGHT.

And since guilt was riding my mind I just made 10 calls for MoveOn.org... and they are looking for volunteers to talk with voters.

When it is all said and done I will sleep well knowing I gave til it hurt!

I just donated $25. Like Kathleen, I'm excited to be able to contribute to Obama through JJP. I also check in here probably too many times each day, sometimes comment, and you all have definitely saved my sanity many times.

I run a store/art gallery, and my best seller (often my ONLY seller because hard times have hit the art market here) is a handbag with Obama's image. It is hand made here in Vermont by a wonderful small company. We have pledged that a substantial amount of each sale goes directly to the Obama Campaign, so from now on I will be making my Flashbag Obama bag contributions through JJP, (if you keep the link up) I sold two bags today, so here's my $25.

A customer actually came in today and asked if this was the Obama Headquarters, because in addition to the bags, I'm giving away Obama Or Else postcards, and the mannequin in my window is wearing an Obama t-shirt. I'm certainly not the HQ, but I do meet and with dozens and dozens of customers who are enthusiastic and motivated and hardworking Obama supporters. I make sure to bring up the election and Obama with every customer who walks through the door if they don't mention it first. I like to be able to share the sanity I inhale here daily at JJP.

Dang, I just gave on Friday too! And I noticed it took longer to get the confirmation email – I guess that additional 1.5 million new donors slows down the server somewhat!
