Biden is a racist. Always will be. I can't stand him.

I stopped second guessing Obama a long time ago. He's pushed all the right buttons, especially in times of distress. That alone makes me believe he'd be a far better President than McCain.
The proof is in what we've seen from McCain during the campaign especially the last six weeks. ERRATIC!

It's nice to see a VP candidate who is not completely lightweight and yet is not a power-mad lunatic. You can still be in support of the top of the ticket and come off as strong. The Democrats didn't seem to get this in 2000 or 2004 when selecting nominees, although on paper I understood why they chose Edwards. I think Sen. Obama made a great choice in selecting Joe Biden, and I'm so glad he didn't bow to the whims of the media. The "win every cycle" nonsense is one of the reasons McCain's campaign has fallen to pieces these past few months. The people have the final say, even if it's hard to remember after these past 8 years.

rikyrah: GO JOE!!! Lovin' and supportin' U 2!!! :>)
U R a GREAT MATCH for Mr. Obama!! Congrats and THANKS!! :>) :>)
It's true; McCain and Co. like to speak of his character, but I agree with an editorial writer that said true character is being man enough to make a criticism that you may have of a person to his face.
McCain is lacking big time in this area
spirit_55z
You go JOE-BI! whipping off his jacket and rolling up his sleeves. Now that's a lesson the rest of the DEMOCRATS need to take a few notes on, i.e. Pelosi and Reid!!!!

Ride or die, Joe. Give 'em hell.

I think Joe would mop the floor up with McCain... and right then, when he was talking, he looked like he wanted to. Joe Biden REALLY connects with older white democrats in a way that Obama cant. He's a great addition to the ticket. Like I said before, I'm going to stop giving Obama advice (if talking to the TV is considered giving advice) and instead just sit back and enjoy watching him do damage.

MCBB: Co-signing. I stopped - long time ago- thinking that I could give Mr. Obama some "advice!" He's the "Master Chess MAN!"
PLAY ON - Mr. Obama!! :>)

I loved when Biden took off his jacket when he went into the "say it to his face" part of the speech. It was like he was getting ready to kick Gramps' ass right then and there.

I actually lost a wager on who Obama would choose for VP. In my mind, Biden was just more of the same despite me liking the guy. Well, I was wrong, wrong, wrong. And, I'm happy being wrong!
Obama's choice of Biden is so right for him; it's so right for all of the American people.
Show the love for this kind of candidate and this kind of campaign!
