It's less stressful and the lines (except for Florida) are shorter.<br>Read everything-look over your ballot and make sure you understand it.<br>Go in the morning before work, or late morning or early afternoon. I would recommend that everyone living in mail in ballot States (offhand I know it's Washington State and Oregon) to also call their county auditor's office and ask if you can verify that they have received your ballot.
