Obama and all his surrogates need to drill this in and even confront McCain and his surrogates more directly and aggressively on this point. If McCain has anything that could ever possibly work its the "spread the wealth", wealth redistribution idea. Corporate welfare doesn't matter or, rather, it's harder to make an effective attack against McCain on that angle. The very people who get the most animated about corporate welfare, IMO, really go off when the government is taking "their money."

This is a good start. For all those receiving tax cuts via Obama, it should be emphasized how it is "their" money. And, maybe its me, but Obama should do what I've only seen in one of his ads -- emphasize how his lower class or lower-middle class tax cuts are 3 times that of McCain's and how McCain gives the greatest percentage in individual tax cuts to the wealthiest while being the stingiest with lower income workers.

MCCAIN:

4.4% tax break to making more than 2.87 million dollars.
.7% tax break to people in the $42K bracket. You know, the people he says Obama is going to tax even when Obama proposes giving them a 2.4% break.

Talk about class warfare. I'd also like to see the Obama campaign reference Bush 41's "read my lips" promise given the news/economists who have said it's a fantasy or irresponsible for candidates to promise to cut taxes for everyone given the economic challenges we face.
